On Extended Saturday Lunchtimes

It always happens. Lunch and a drink at our local on a Saturday lunchtime seems to begin at one o'clock and finish at nine o'clock at night with us arriving home in a taxi clutching bags of fish 'n' chips and mushy pea fritters. Too many fun people in our local and just when we think we'll make a move to go home somebody else interesting comes in. The only answer to that is Full English breakfast on the Sunday morning and a nice looking piece of roast loin of pork for dinner. Tomorrow is the day for a bowl of steam and healthy eating regime. Not quite sure what I'm doing here yet as I have been persuaded to Blog by a very good CyberMate - Nog'sBlog - and I know already that once I start I won't be able to leave it alone.
